This here is a response to a video-post on the Desteni Cult blog from February 22, 2012.
The video was uploaded by YouTube user ‘xfinksx’ and is entitled: The Real Equal Money System, which is a two-minute video mainly presenting, along with some tribal-drumming, various pictures of Native Americans, Aborigines, and other indigenous/hunter-gatherer tribes.
Towards the end of the video there is text which reads:
“While not all Hunter Gatherer and Tribal societies were thoroughly egalitarian, most approached a level of equality that far outshines what we experience today. Most resources and work were held in common and therefore not exclusive to any one group of people.
Desteni’s vague model for the EMS as a prescription in a state level modern world lacks insight as to the real causes of inequality. Today’s current system is more a symptom of inequality rather than the cause of it.”
About a year ago I uploaded a video in relation to a similar point that is being presented here by ‘xfinksx’:
which is in regards to the absurdity of using such words as ‘level of equality’ in one statement, as commonsensically, that does not mathematically compute.
Why?
Because equality does not have ‘levels’ but is absolute in expression – equal is equal, simple as that – a mathematical equation cannot have ‘different levels of answers’ to the equation. No – that which is on either side of the = must be equal (ex: 1+1=2, 2=2).
To even try to express equality in any other way, where one is trying/attempting to justify why ‘some level of inequality’ is acceptable, is simply exposing and revealing the individual who is using these such words for what he/she actually stand for/as – as the living words they exemplify in their moment to moment living.
Wherein, the point that is not considered is that if the equation is not equal – meaning, if the equation does not figure in all parts with an exact precision that can be cross-referenced and clearly defined/established, then the entirety of the equation is incomputable. I mean, we learn this in basic math class. And this is how the current system of this world is presently functioning, as an incomputable equation that allows ambiguities like ‘levels of equality’ to justify abuse, exploitation and massive suffering.
This is precisely why we at Desteni state within our proposal for an Equal Money System , that it must be implemented within the principle of what is best for ALL, where not a single part/point/element will be left out; because we understand and realize that unless ALL are considered in the equation, then some will ALL:WAYS be left out – common sense – so, that means that there will always be some form of exclusion, separation, rejection happening which will in effect accumulate yet again, an abusive system.
This is also why we propose that one must toss away/let go of ALL of that which they know of this world, because ALL of it was manifested within that same starting point of inequality – from the very beginning this world was set to an equation that could never-ever be computed, so would always churn out and accumulate more exclusion, separation, rejection, and abuse – one need only take a look at history to see this clearly.
The argument that there was at some point ‘Egalitarian societies’ is simply not true, and even ‘xfinksx’ noted this when he stated: “While not all Hunter Gatherer and Tribal societies were thoroughly egalitarian…” – yeah, however – not only were ‘not all Hunter Gatherer and Tribal societies thoroughly egalitarian’ – but NONE of them were. We have never, in the entire history of mankind, ever experienced total and complete equality.
If one was to do actual research on societies that some claim to have been egalitarian, and then study how these societies functioned, one will see the gaps, the holes, the inequalities quite easily. Wherein these societies are mainly presented in a romanticized light while what is conveniently glossed over in most cases is, for instance, the ways in which some of these ‘egalitarian’ societies defended themselves from ‘outsiders’ – where they were only ‘egalitarian’ within the confines of their tribe/clan/community, but if their tribe/clan/community was threatened in some way, then brutal tactics were employed out of fear of survival, so this ‘equality’ had boundaries, it was contained within a bubble, which just shows the level of separation that we have existed in – where we have placed ourselves in layers of bubbles – from the bubble of ourselves within our mind, to the bubble of our family, the bubble of our tribe/clan/community, the bubble of our nationality, and so on – and in order to face, stop, and change, we must burst each and every one of these bubbles to get to see the fact that we all share this planet together – we all breathe the same air here – and for us to create a world where survival is not number 1, we must work together in fact.
We have always moved ourselves within separation – not seeing that the ONLY ‘egalitarian society’ than can ever practically exist, is a WORLD society of equals; because unless that is so, then the abuse will continue until we destroy ourselves, imploding inside our own separate bubbles of spitefulness – if one were to take a look around, self-honestly, one would see this is not too far from our door.
We cannot keep hiding behind hollow ideas/perceptions that any level of equality ever existed, so that we can come to terms with what we have co-created here, and as such stand up to break the chains and no longer continue down the same beaten path of abuse.
To continue on with the remainder of xfinksx’s quote:
“Desteni’s vague model for the EMS as a prescription in a state level modern world lacks insight as to the real causes of inequality. Today’s current system is more a symptom of inequality rather than the cause of it.”
Talk about ‘vagueness’ – here, ‘xfinksx’ is making elusive statements, basically punching at the air, with no substance or insight into what he is in fact expressing. He basically is making a statement with no practical significance, as it shows no point of understanding or moreover offers no solution to the problem of inequality.
However, Destonians have written/spoken out and placed vast material in regards to implementing an Equal Money System, and how to go about putting an end to the ills of inequality, which can be viewed in our blogs, vlogs, forums, books, Destonian Wikipedia, on our websites and facebook – on a daily basis.
The material we place in regards to the Equal Money System is cross-checked breath by breath, as it must be walked into practical reality in ‘real-time’ – and as such is not something that can be ‘set in stone’ nor something that is pre-programmable, but instead we allow ourselves to stand and working together humbly, step by step, adjusting where necessary, yet always directing each point within the same principle of ensuring the outcome is what is best for all – to get this equation in place that will bring about a world that is all-inclusive and dignified.
So ‘xfinksx’ – today’s current system is certainly a symptom of inequality, and WE are the cause of it. We as human beings, due to our spiteful, self-interested, fearful, vindictive nature, have caused and created a world of atrocious suffering and abuse. Yet, we at Desteni have proven that we can in fact change our human nature with self-will, self-honesty, and most importantly: Self-Forgiveness.
This also has been stated extensively within the Desteni and Equal Money System material, which anyone can research and investigate for oneself…if one dare to step beyond their limited view of this world, and themselves.
